Training

RUCT practices are open to all current Rice students, faculty, and staff. You do not have to pay dues in order to attend the practices. Please fill out this form before attending practice, then you can simply show up. Practices may be subject to change or cancellation on a weekly basis -- check the weekly RUCT email on Sunday evenings for any changes. 

All running, swimming, and brick workouts are able to be customized for all athletes, beginner to advanced. Weekend cycling rides require some level of experience for safety purposes. If you have never done group rides before, attend the biking portion of the Wednesday evening brick workout (BIKE: 5:30-6:15pm, RUN: 6:15-6:45pm) to learn group riding skills before attending a weekend cycling ride. Weekend cycling rides will vary in pace and distance -- pay attention to the details in the weekly emails.
